There are two methods to make this porridge. The first is to simply pour the water over the ingredients and let them sit overnight (great for the warmer months) or you can cook it for 15-20 minutes on a stovetop.
1 cup bulgur wheat
2 cups water
1/2 cup raisins
A pinch of mineral salt
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cardamom
Method 1: Pour water over bulgur wheat, raisins and salt. Cover and let sit overnight.
Method 2: Bring water to a boil and add the remaining ingredients. Simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the grain is soft and chewy.
