    Hale Pule

    mudra- hale pule

HALE PULE is a Hawaiian phrase which translates as "House of Prayer". Hale Pule is the Kauai home of teacher/author Myra Lewin. Traditionally, Ayurveda and Yoga have been passed from teacher to student in a one on one setting. This is to provide first hand experience of a teacher living the practices.
Myra offers Ayurvedic wellness counseling, individual sessions, meditation retreats, teacher training courses, and inspiring workshops. All of these offerings are intended to provide an opportunity for the student to take a step up in consciousness.

"The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of his wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind". ~Kahlil Gibran

"It is my hope that clients will come to understand themselves with increasing clarity and consciousness in order to feel better and live life more fully."

Myra offers practical approaches for balancing body, mind, and spirit that you can integrate with daily life. The basis of an Ayurvedic approach is to support your body in returning to its natural healthy function rather than being dependent on supplements and drugs to mask symptoms of malfunction.

A five thousand year old companion tradition to Yoga, Ayurveda is a comprehensive and holistic approach to healing and wellness. Ayurveda considers human beings as part of nature and its natural cycles. Myra’s approach to health is through restoring the natural harmony and balance of body, mind, and spirit. She emphasizes preventing illness, long joyful living and self responsibility.

Through Yoga and Ayurveda, Myra obtained complete healing from life-threatening diseases and has since

    ~ From Myra:

"As a student of life and practitioner of Yoga, we have the opportunity to be of service to others, through our teaching and by how we live our own lives. Teaching is the great opportunity to show up and be present for others with all of our strengths and weaknesses. How we are able to be present in our teaching over the long term is a reflection of our own life practices. Learning to pay attention to changes in our own body, breathing, emotions, attitudes and relationships allows us to clearly pay attention to our students".

    Raja Yoga

Myra offers private and semi-private instruction in practices for all levels, including beginners, practitioners, and teachers. Her seasoned guidance will help you safely structure, deepen, and expand your practices. Individualized therapy is available for injury or illness with step by step instruction for releasing pain and healing. Myra also offers mentoring for advanced teacher training.

Develop true strength, vitality, ease, beauty, flexibility, and inner awareness by learning to bring consciousness to your thinking, breath, posture, and movement. Practices employed include asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, mudra, chanting, philosophy, and psychology.

Yoga is a vast tradition and a grounded basis for living. The practices of Yoga are a means by which change can come about in our life. Moving toward the state of Yoga unites body mind and spirit so that we may come to know our true Self. This union allows us to bring awareness to each action in every moment. The awakening of our consciousness is accomplished through our Sadhana (spiritual practices).

    Spiritual Guidance and Meditation

Myra assists people in finding their truth. She has benefited individuals, couples, and families in illuminating their choices, resources, inner-guidance, and wisdom. She helps people go deeper into self-awareness, revealing their natural gifts and talents.

    Testimonies:

With your guidance I discovered the fact that I have chosen the experiences that I've had in my life... it was very liberating to take responsibility for my internal experience of things that I had felt victimized by or wanted to turn out in other ways... let go of some resistance, fear, and doubt, and feel much more accepting and at peace with my existence so far than I have before :) :) :) I feel very alive now- vibrant, and open and accepting of being present and moving through change as it comes.

Silent Meditation, Ayurveda and Yoga Retreats

    From an attendee:

"Myra ... 'teaches' you how to access your own truth. So for the first time after leaving a retreat, I wasn’t leaving a magical bubble in fear that the moment the plane landed - it would burst - landing me back at square one again. This time it was truly integrated."

HOMA is a Sanskrit word used here synonymously with YAJNYA. YAJNYA is the technical term from the Vedic science of bioenergy denoting the process of removing the toxic conditions of the atmosphere through the agency of fire. This means healing and purifying of the atmosphere with fire as the medium. The central idea in HOMA Therapy is:

You heal the atmosphere and the healed atmosphere heals you.

By incorporating Agnihotra into their daily practices, thousands of people around the world have experienced improved health, more energy, and less stress. Guidance in this practice is available free of charge. See www.agnihotra.org for additional information.
